David my friend! We grew up on Bluemond went to Underwood, then Hawthorne, then Tosa West together.

For having a rough start in life, he was always in good spitrits and just a damn good guy!

His brother Ricky was legendary and a friend too!

Yeah, we had an interesting mix in our neighborhood, didn't we?  If I remember correctly, Mrs. Carberry was a single mom and Rick had to rush home at lunch and other times because it was kinda tough for her and them.

Ricky was so rough on poor Tom Ash!  Tom was the squrriel to Ricky's dog!  He always had Beatle boots and was slightly outta my league at the time on getting rowdy.  Rich Rogers, Ricky, and I had a good time while Rick was still in school I think it was in 10th grade woodworking class.

I ran into him and Ricky at times later and he seemed appreciative that I didn't hold what he was like before agianst him.  David was always good to see when he worked at the Kohls store.

David was a gentle soul and a nice guy.  Easy-going and sincere.  He took a lot of guff and teasing, but he just took it with dignity and decency.  God bless him and all who knew him and treated him well!
